A new study coordinated by the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) and comScore forecasts an even faster growth which is reaching 330 million to 370 million users in the next two years, building India the second leading audience after China.But even though the present Internet users account for only about 10 percent to 12 percent of India’s total population of 1.2 billion, the Internet explosion in India is already evident.
