Azafran innovacion launches organic crayons

Ahmedabad-based Azafran Innovacion Limited has launched organic crayons, which claims to be the first of its kind by an Indian manufacture. The petroleum, synthetic, mineral or animal wax-free crayons are made with soya, palm waxes, soya butter and food-grade colours. The company claims the crayons are non-toxic and bio degradable and perfect for toddlers and children.

Azafran claims it is the first ever brand in India that creates personal care products with the concept of ‘Farm to Face’, where the entire range of products are made only by using natural methods and organic farm grown ingredients. Promoted by Aditi Vyas and Mansi Vyas — daughters of Dishman Pharmaceuticals Ltd.’s chairman Janmejay Vyas– the company has so far been offering organic solutions for the Indian market across personal care (face, hair and body care), and home care under the brand Azafran Organics.
